GOLD MEDAL STANDARD OF SERVICE

As a member of the National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics, Good Shepherd has been awarded again the 2023 Gold Medal Standard of Service.

The mission of the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics is to ensure the medically underserved have access to affordable healthcare. The NAFC and its 1400 member clinics are dedicated to ensuring that patients receive quality healthcare. To quantify and qualify the care provided at Free and Charitable Clinics, the NAFC formalized a set of Quality Standards for member organizations. NAFC Quality Standards include policies and procedures related to the following areas: Administration, Clinic/Pharmacy Responsibilities, Credentialing and Privileging Systems, Patient Care, and Risk Management Systems.
